Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas attend Minnesota Twins's game against Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon
Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard joined his Chelsea quartet for a baseball game on Sunday afternoon as Antonio Conte’s squad took a break from their intensive pre-season training.
The Blues lost 3-2 to Champions League holders Real Madrid in their second International Champions Cup fixture on Saturday afternoon despite Hazard finding the net twice.
Chelsea fell foul of Brazil international Marcelo after the left-back scored through a deflected strike before a brilliant solo goal, leaving Mariano Diaz to polish off the win.
Conte’s side started their trip Stateside with a win last week after Gary Cahill’s deflected tenth-minute winner helped the Blues ease to a 1-0 win over Liverpool at Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
However, Fabregas and Hazard swapped for football for baseball on Sunday as the Belgian and Spanish midfielder joins Asmir Begovic, Pedro, Cesar Azpilicueta and Thibaut Courtois for Minnesota Twins’s victory over Chicago Sox.
Begovic posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“Great afternoon at the @twins game with the boys. Thank you for the great hospitality! #twinsbaseball #cfctour”
Chelsea finished in tenth place in the Premier League table last season.
