Harry Kane is clearly eagerly anticipating the start of the new Premier League season after the striker sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur supporters.

The England forward returned to training last month after Kane was unable to inspire Roy Hodgson’s side to glory at the European championship in France.

The 23-year-old finished as the Premier League’s top scorer last season after a return of 25 goals in 37 top-flight games for the Lilywhites last term.

Kane was named as a the PFA young player of the year in 2015 and the Spurs talisman has netted an impressive 46 times over the past two seasons for Lilywhites.

So it should come as no surprise that Kane is looking forward to getting back to domestic football again after the disappointment of struggling to perform on the international stage.

Kane posted the above photo and wrote on his Instagram page:

“10 more days! 👊⚽️ #premierleague”
