Michy Batshuayi reacts to reaching 500,000 followers on Instagram following his Chelsea transfer

Michy Batshuayi has sent a message to his Instagram followers after the new Chelsea signing reached 500,000 followers on the photo-sharing app.

The Belgium international has quickly settled into life in the west London side’s squad following his £34m switch from Ligue 1 side Marseille earlier this month.

Batshuayi was the first of Antonio Conte’s summer signings before the Italian head coach signed N’Golo Kante in a £30m deal from Premier League champions Leicester City.

The 22-year-old centre-forward was a second-half substitute in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool after Gary Cahill’s tenth-minute winner at the Levi Stadium in Pasadena.

And the Chelsea signing, who scored 17 times on 36 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille last season, was thrilled to reach a new landmark on the photo-sharing app.

Batshuayi posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“We’ll have a party all together ahahaha ❤ Thx everyone for the support !!”
