Eric Bailly has warned Manchester United supporters to get ready for an exciting season after Sunday’s 3-1 victory at Bournemouth.

The Ivory Coast international made his Premier League debut alongside Daley Blind at centre-half for the trip to Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Juan Mata broke the deadlock in the first half after a Bournemouth defensive mistake before goals from Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic sealed three points.

However, Bailly was named the man of the match ahead of the United captain and Swedish legend after a composed performance in the United back four.

And the 24-year-old took to Instagram to reflect on his first game in the English top flight as United moved to first place in the Premier League table.

Bailly wrote the following caption on the photo-sharing app:

“Good way to start my first Premier League’s game. ⚽️ It’s gonna be an exciting season”

United will host Southampton in their next Premier League fixture at Old Trafford on Friday night as Jose Mourinho’s side look to make it back-to-back wins.
