Henrikh Mkhitaryan has promised Manchester United supporters even more champagne football after Friday night’s 2-0 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils eased to a comfortable win against the Saints in their first home game of the season under new manager Jose Mourinho, who replaced Louis van Gaal in May.

Summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored either side of half-time to take his tally to three Premier League goals in two appearances in the English top-flight thus far.

Mkhitaryan was limited to another cameo from the substitute’s bench as the Armenia international teed up Pogba for a late chance at the Theatre of Dreams.

And the £30m summer signing appeared content with his cameo performance after United’s 2-0 win against the Saints to record successive Premier League victories.

Mkhitaryan posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Home victory! ☑️ Still more to come…good night everyone👊”

Ibrahimovic broke the deadlock with a powerful header in the first half at Old Trafford after a superb cross from United captain Wayne Rooney.
