Paul Pogba has revealed that he managed to incorporate a little bit of Juventus into the midfielder’s second Manchester United debut as the Red Devils beat Southampton 2-0 on Friday night.

The 23-year-old made his highly-anticipated return to Old Trafford after United agreed a world-record £92m transfer fee with Serie A champions Juventus earlier this month.

Pogba impressed on his United comeback as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s brace secured three points for Jose Mourinho’s side against the Saints.

However, the French midfielder managed to pay a little tribute to Juventus and their fans ahead of kick off.

Pogba posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Glad to have Tommy as first home game mascot representing Juventus fans who always supported me. @thommy_pp10 @manchesterunited #pogback #mufc”

The United star moved to Juventus in an £800,000 deal from the Red Devils in 2012 after he failed to secure regular first-team football under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Pogba won four successive Serie A titles and finished as a Champions League runner-up during a decorated spell at the Italian giants.

United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Ferguson guided the Red Devils to their final top-flight crown.
