The Germany playmaker is now back in the UK after being granted an extended summer holiday following his involvement in Euro 2016 with his national side.

Ozil is unlikely be ready for Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Liverpool at The Emirates on Sunday, but the 27-year-old is now working on his fitness levels ahead of the new campaign.

Xhaka also looked to be in good spirits as he hopes to impress Arsene Wenger in the build-up to Sunday’s clash with the Reds in north London.

Also pictured during the session were the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey.
