The Germany international was put through his paces at the club’s London Colney training ground on Saturday morning as Arsene Wenger’s men prepared for their Premier League opener against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Ozil is unlikely to feature for the Gunners against the Reds after only returning to Arsenal training last week following his extended summer holiday.

However, Alexis Sanchez will be expecting to play a part after he was put through his paces at London Colney with Wenger’s first team.

Arsenal are looking to kick off the new campaign in positive fashion as they look to build on their second-placed finish in the Premier League last season.
