The World Cup winner has been enjoying an extended break over the past couple of weeks after Ozil helped Germany reach the last four of the European championship in France.

However, the Arsenal star was unable to inspire Joachim Low’s side to victory in the semi-final clash against France as the hosts were 2-0 winners against the world champions.

But Ozil looked to have gotten over that disappointment as the Arsenal club-record signing met up with his Gunners team-mates in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

And the German, who wasn’t kitted out for the pre-season friendly, watched on as Arsene Wenger’s side were 3-1 winners against Mexican outfit Chivas.

Rob Holding, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Chuba Akpom all managed to get on the score sheet against the pre-season opponents.
