Rio Ferdinand says he is looking forward to Paul Pogba’s explosive moments in a Manchester United shirt.

The France international completed a £92m transfer to Old Trafford last week after months of speculation linking the Red Devils with a return to United.

Pogba could make his second Red Devils debut against Southampton in the first Premier League game of the season at Old Trafford on Friday night.

Ferdinand played with Pogba during the early stages of the 23-year-old’s career before he completed an £800,000 switch to Juventus in 2012.

And the former England defender posted the below YouTube video as he explained why he is so excited about Pogba’s move to the Red Devils.

Pogba scored eight goals and made 12 assists in 35 Serie A appearances last season as Juventus won their fourth successive Italian title.

United were 3-1 winners against Bournemouth in their opening Premier League game at Vitality Stadium last weekend.
