Robbie Savage reacts angrily on Twitter to Diego Costa’s Chelsea winner

Robbie Savage was not pleased to see Diego Costa score Chelsea's winner against West Ham on Monday night

Robbie Savage was less than impressed by Diego Costa’s antics after the Spain international scored Chelsea’s late winner in Monday night’s 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

After a goalless first half in west London, the Blues took the lead through Eden Hazard’s penalty in the 47th minute after Michail Antonio fouled Cesar Azpilicueta.

However, the Hammers battled back and equalised in the 77th minute when James Collins fired home.

But Costa had the final say when he rifled in a low shot into the bottom corner in the 89th minute to hand Chelsea three points in Antonio Conte’s first Premier League game in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Costa appeared fortunate not to be shown a second yellow card after he brought down West Ham goalkeeper Adrian in the box before his goal.

And former midfielder Savage clearly thought that the striker should have been given his marching orders.

Savage tweeted:
