Luke Shaw and ‏Henrikh Mkhitaryan have both taken to social media to celebrate Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth in their Premier League opener on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils looked to be in good shape as they got their Premier League campaign under Jose Mourinho off to a winning start on the south coast.

The visitors took the lead in the 40th minute thanks to Juan Mata’s opener.

Wayne Rooney then doubled the visitors’ advantage after half-time, before Zlatan Ibrahimovic fired home in the 64th minute to net his first Premier League goal on his debut in the English top flight.

Adam Smith then pulled a goal back for Eddie Howe’s side when he smashed the ball into the top corner from 14 yards out.

But United held on and claimed the three points to get Mourinho’s reign at United off to a winning start in the Premier League.
