Thierry Henry believes Paul Pogba’s signing along with his fellow summer arrivals and the appointment of Jose Mourinho have restored the buzz around Manchester United.

The Red Devils have won their opening two Premier League games of the season to leave the 20-time English champions at the top of the table ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea.

United were 3-1 winners against Bournemouth on the opening weekend thanks to goals from Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Vitality Stadium.

The Red Devils followed up their win on the south coast with a 2-0 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford on Friday night as Ibrahimovic scored goals either side of half-time to take his tally to three Premier League goals for the season.

Former Arsenal striker Henry explained why he believes United have their swagger back ahead of the Red Devils’s next Premier League game against Hull City at KC Stadium next Saturday afternoon.

“I was at the training ground and you can see the place is buzzing because Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly is there and Jose Mourinho has arrived. You’re playing and you’re buzzing because you’re winning on top of it all,” Henry told Sky Sports.
