Thierry Henry: This is who Arsenal need to sign this summer

Thierry Henry discusses Arsenal's search for their fourth summer signing

Thierry Henry wants to see Arsenal move quickly to sign at least one new defender before the close of the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with a host of player throughout the current window but are yet to add to their three signings so far this summer.

Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding and Takuma Asano are the three players who Arsene Wenger has moved to sign this summer but the Gunners have still not signed the marquee player Gunners fans have been craving.

Per Mertesacker is set to be sidelined for a number of months after undergoing knee surgery and Henry wants to see The Gunners move quickly to bring in some defensive reinforcements.

“I still think we need a defender – maybe even two,” Henry told Sky Sports News HQ.

“We don’t know how Rob Holding is going to turn out to be, Calum Chambers might turn out to be the one. Who knows?”
