Tottenham deal for Marseille forward in doubt – report
Tottenham's deal to sign Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is on the verge of collapse, according to reports in France
Tottenham Hotspur’s deal to sign Marseille forward Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is in doubt as the relationship between the two clubs continues to turn sour, according to reports in France.
French media outlet Le Phoceen are reporting that Tottenham have grown concerned over their target’s lack of training as negotiations rumble on without sign of conclusion.
The same story is claiming that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has attempted to change the terms of the agreement which has led to the deal potentially collapsing.
Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a host of different players in the summer transfer window, although the Spurs manager has only signed two targets thus far.
The north London club signed Kenya international Victor Wanyama in a £25m deal from Pochettino’s former employers Southampton earlier this summer.
The Spurs boss also completed a big-money deal for AZ Alkmaar and Netherlands striker Vincent Janssen last month as Pochettino bolstered his attacking options at the White Hart Lane outfit.
The Lilywhites finished in third place in the Premier League table last season after a largely positive second campaign under Pochettino.
