Watch: New Man United signing sets personal best during vacation
The Manchester United striker shows off his fishing spoils
Zlatan Ibrahimovic managed to score within four minutes of his Manchester United debut but the Manchester United striker preferred to reflect on a recent fishing feat than his overhead kick.
The Sweden international started alongside Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney for his first Red Devils appearance and managed to steer a scissor kick goal-bound to break the deadlock for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The 20-time English champions went on to win 5-2 against Turkish side Galatasaray as United registered their second win of this summer’s pre-season campaign in Ibrahimovic’s home – Sweden.
But the 34-year-old made no reference to his goal-scoring heroics on Instagram as he posted a video of his record-breaking fish which the centre-forward managed to catch on vacation.
Ibrahimovic posted the above clip on the photo-sharing app and wrote the following caption:
“New PB caught with my friend @svartzonker during my vacation #pike”
The Swedish legend won four Ligue 1 titles for Paris Saint-Germain following his move to the French capital in 2012.
Ibrahimovic scored 38 times in 31 Ligue 1 appearances for the French champions last season.
Mourinho’s United side will face Leicester City in the Community Shield on 7 August at Wembley.
