Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he has been very impressed by what he has seen from Marcus Rashford following his arrival at Manchester United in the summer.

The Red Devils are currently preparing for their first Premier League game of the season under new manager Jose Mourinho and Sunday’s trip to Bournemouth.

Ibrahimovic has been training with his new team-mates at Carrington in recent days and helped United win the Community Shield last weekend by scoring the winner at Wembley against Leicester.

And the veteran Swedish striker has admitted that he has been very impressed by what he has seen from United starlet Rashford in recent weeks.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Ibrahimovic said: “I can do a lot for the young players.

“I see Rashford as a huge talent, I have been here two weeks and I also saw him last season.”

United finished fifth in the Premier League table last season and moved quickly to bring in Mourinho as the club’s new manager after opting to sack Louis van Gaal back in May.
