Ian Wright states prediction for Arsenal v Middlesbrough

The former Arsenal striker doesn't expect Middlesbrough to cause Arsenal too many problems this weekend

Ian Wright says he doesn’t envisage Middlesbrough causing Arsenal any problems at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners were emphatic 6-0 winners against Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday night thanks to Mesut Ozil’s first hat-trick in the second half in north London.

Arsenal have won their last six Premier League games since a goalless draw with defending champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in August.

The north London side’s run has included impressive victories over Hull City and Chelsea to leave Arsene Wenger’s side level on points with leaders Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Former Arsenal striker Wright doesn’t expect the home side to slip up against Middlesbrough in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

“Koscielny and Mustafi are playing so well and it’s not really happening for Alvaro Negredo,” Wright told The Sun Goals app.

“Who else is shooting for Middlesbrough? The way Arsenal are playing, I can’t see Boro getting too much of the ball.”

Arsenal are the Premier League’s joint-top goal-scorers after a return of 19 goals in eight games in the 2016-17 season so far.
