Bastian Schweinsteiger seems to be in good spirits despite his lack of playing time for Manchester United

Bastian Schweinsteiger does not appear to be letting his lack of first-team football get him down as he continues to be frozen out at Manchester United.

The German midfielder appears to have no future at Old Trafford since the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the club’s new manager back in May.

The veteran midfielder has not featured for the Red Devils at all this season after clearly not being part of Mourinho’s plans.

It remains to be seen whether Schweinsteiger will remain at Old Trafford beyond the winter transfer window.

However, he looked to be in good spirits as he enjoyed a stroll in the park on Friday afternoon and took some time away from football.

The midfielder posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Afternoon walk 😃.”

Manchester United were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Stoke City in the Premier League at Old Trafford last weekend.
