David James’ two-word prediction for Bayer Leverkusen v Tottenham

David James is tipping Tottenham to beat Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night in the Champions League

David James is backing Tottenham to take all three points from their Champions League trip to Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.

The Lilywhites head into the game looking to return to winning ways after their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham have taken three points from their opening two Champions League games after dropping points against AS Monaco in their first match, before a victory at CSKA Moscow last time out.

Spurs have earned plenty of praise for the start they have made to the new season and are currently the only unbeaten team left in the Premier League.

And former England goalkeeper James is tipping Tottenham to beat their Bundesliga opponents on Tuesday.

Asked for his prediction for the game, James told The Sport Review: “Away win.”
