Chelsea man admits Man United are lucky to have Jose Mourinho

Ruben Loftus-Cheek admits that Manchester United are fortunate to have Jose Mourinho as their manager

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has admitted that Manchester United are “lucky” to have Jose Mourinho as their manager.

The Red Devils are preparing to travel to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon as they look to bounce back to winning ways after their goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night.

Mourinho is gearing up for his first return to Stamford Bridge since his sacking by Chelsea back in December and is sure to be given a warm reception by Blues fans in west London this weekend.

And Chelsea midfielder Loftus-Cheek admits that United are fortunate to have the Portuguese coach as their manager.

Loftus-Cheek is quoted as saying by Metro: “I don’t think it will be weird facing Mourinho but obviously he is a great manager and I think Man United are lucky to have him.

“So even though he is Chelsea, even though he has moved to United, Chelsea fans still love him.”

Chelsea head into the game looking to make it three wins in a row in the Premier League after victories over Hull City and Leicester City in their most recent two outings.

The Blues ended up 10th in the Premier League table last season and without a trophy last term after Mourinho’s sacking.
