Chelsea man admits new Man United signing is a huge threat

Ruben Loftus-Cheek says Manchester United are lucky to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic this season

Ruben Loftus-Cheek admits that Manchester United are lucky to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the striker’s summer move to Old Trafford.

The 35-year-old forward is currently getting to grips with life in the Premier League after he moved to Old Trafford following his exit from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

Ibrahimovic has been a regular starter for Jose Mourinho’s United side in the Premier League this season but was unable to find a breakthrough during Monday night’s goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

Loftus-Cheek admits that he is a keen admirer of the veteran forward and believes that he is a big addition to the Premier League.

The Chelsea star is quoted as saying by Metro: “Zlatan is a great player, isn’t he?

“He’s got goals and flair and everything it is exciting for the Premier League to have him.”

Loftus-Cheek will be hoping to be involved when Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend with a crunch home clash against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

It will mark Mourinho’s first return to Stamford Bridge since his sacking by Chelsea back in December.
