Daley Blind talks up his partnership with new Man United signing
Daley Blind has been pleased with the start Eric Bailly has made since arriving at Manchester United
Daley Blind has talked up the understanding he has developed with new Manchester United signing Eric Bailly this season.
The 22-year-old Ivorian defender has impressed in his first few weeks as a Manchester United player following his summer transfer to the club from Villarreal.
Bailly has been deployed at centre-half along with Netherlands international Blind for much of the campaign and the pair seem to have forged a relatively strong partnership.
And Blind has revealed how the pair have had to rely on non-verbal forms of communication as Bailly continues to study English following his transfer to Old Trafford.
Blind is quoted as saying by TEAMtalk: “I think the key is to talk a lot.
“It’s a bit more difficult with Eric because of the language barrier but we both understand football and you can also do a lot with your hands.
“We’ve had a good understanding already It’s important to be able to rely on each other and help each other, that helps build a team together.”
Both Blind and Bailly will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
The Red Devils are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table after their 1-1 draw with Stoke last weekend.
