David De Gea insists that he is completely happy at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho.

The Spanish goalkeeper came close to leaving Old Trafford last summer when he was on the verge of signing for Real Madrid, before the transfer fell through at the last minute.

De Gea then ended up committing his future to the Red Devils by signing a new contract with the club and seems to be enjoying life under new manager Mourinho.

The Spain international has developed into one of Europe’s top goalkeepers since his arrival at the club from Atletico Madrid while Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge.

And De Gea admits that he is happy with his current situation at Old Trafford under the Portuguese coach.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports before United’s clash with Liverpool on Monday night, De Gea said: “It’s one of the best clubs in the world, to put the Man Utd shirt on is amazing and to play at Old Trafford. It’s a dream for me, of course.”
