The Belgian playmaker found the net with the Blues’ second goal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as the west London side eased to a 3-0 win over defending champions Leicester City.
Hazard came in for plenty of criticism last season for failing to deliver on a consistent basis for the Blues as Chelsea endured a season to forget.
However, the 25-year-old has now already scored three times in the Premier League for Antonio Conte’s men this term.
And the playmaker says he wants to improve his goal return for the west London club this season.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea’s website, Hazard said: “It is always good to be on the score-sheet.
“I am a striker so I try every game to score and my confidence is good.
“I scored two goals for the national team and one this weekend and I hope to score more in the next game.”
Chelsea now turn their attentions to their crunch showdown with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues ended up 10th in the Premier League last season after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
