Eden Hazard makes admission about Chelsea under Antonio Conte
Eden Hazard reflects on Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday
Eden Hazard has revealed that he feels like Antonio Conte has given Chelsea and himself more freedom on the pitch this season.
Hazard found the net as the Blues made it back to back wins in the Premier League on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over defending champions Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.
Diego Costa opened the scoring in the seventh minute, before Hazard made it 2-0 before half-time when he rounded the goalkeeper and slotted home.
Victor Moses then made it 3-0 with a late strike to hand the Blues all three points.
Conte had found himself under pressure at Stamford Bridge after losses to both Arsenal and Liverpool in the Premier League last month.
However, Belgian playmaker Hazard feels that the Italian coach is now starting to get the best out of his team and pointed to a positional change for him.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Hazard said: “I play more inside the pitch. I don’t stay wide. I play this system with the Belgium side.
“We have more freedom. And we can win the ball back. It is good for us.”
