Eden Hazard has issued his backing for Antonio Conte amid the recent speculation linking the manager with an early exit from Chelsea.

Bookmakers suspended betting on Conte to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked on Thursday after a flurry of bets backing the Italian to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

There appears to be no concrete evidence behind the reports however, and Chelsea are set to host defending champions Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

And Belgium star Hazard appears to be fully behind the Italian coach as Chelsea prepare for a return to Premier League action this weekend.

Hazard is quoted as saying by The Daily Mirror: “He is good. We started well with three wins, then we suffered two defeats after the international break and then we won again. He has tried to bring confidence to the players.”

Chelsea head into their clash with Leicester in seventh place and looking to build on their 2-0 win over Hull City before the international break.
