Emre Can has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of Liverpool’s showdown with Manchester United in the Premier League at Anfield on Monday night.

The Reds are preparing to welcome their bitter local rivals to Merseyside as they look to continue their strong start to the season.

Liverpool have already beaten the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City so far this season and will be hopeful of taking the three points against Jose Mourinho’s men in front of their home fans.

Manchester United are bidding to return to winning ways in the top flight after they were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Stoke City before the international break.

The Red Devils head into the game three points behind Klopp’s men as they look to get back to winning ways.

Liverpool know that a win would move them level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

And Can is clearly excited about Monday’s game.

The Germany international posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “It’s one of those games you dream of as a little boy!
