Former Liverpool star: This is new Man United signing’s best attribute
Kolo Toure says Eric Bailly's calmness is one of the Manchester United defender's best attributes
Kolo Toure believes that Eric Bailly’s calm and composed attitude is the reason why he will develop into a top player at Manchester United.
The 22-year-old has earned plenty of praise for his composed performances for the Red Devils since becoming Jose Mourinho’s first summer signing at Old Trafford.
Bailly has featured in all seven of United’s Premier League games so far this season and has proved himself to be more than capable of performing regularly for his new club.
The Ivory Coast international has helped Mourinho’s men up to sixth place in the Premier League table so far this season.
Bailly has produced performances beyond his years for the Red Devils and looks set to develop into a key player at Old Trafford.
Former Liverpool and Arsenal defender Toure says that he is most impressed by the defender’s calm and relaxed attitude during games, and also claimed that the centre-half is clearly settled off the pitch in Manchester.
Speaking in an interview with United Review, Toure said: “He’s a really composed, calm boy who knows what he’s here for.
“He’s here to play football and he’s really enjoying his time in Manchester with his family. You can tell that just from the way he’s playing! He’s enjoying the city and he’s a really good boy.
“He’s tall, technically very good, has brilliant vision and he’s really calm. That calmness is the most powerful attribute he’s got.”
