Gary Lineker delivers verdict on Twitter on Man United’s Paul Pogba and Chelsea signing
The former Tottenham striker makes a point about N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba on Twitter
Gary Lineker took to Twitter to highlight Chelsea’s shrewd transfer business to sign N’Golo Kante for less money than Paul Pogba in the summer.
The Blues signed the France international in a £30m deal from reigning Premier League champions Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
Kante played a key role in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday afternoon as he dominated the midfield area despite the presence of world-record signing Pogba.
The former Juventus midfielder moved to Old Trafford in an £89m deal in August as United made Pogba the most expensive player in the world.
However, Lineker appeared to suggest that Kante was much better value than his France compatriot after Chelsea’s 4-0 win against the 20-time English champions.
Pogba cost £60million more than Kante.
