Gary Lineker reacts on Twitter to Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Leicester

Gary Lineker tweets his thoughts after Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge

Gary Lineker has taken to social media to concede that Leicester City have been brought tumbling down to earth this season following their 3-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The defending champions struggled to click into gear in west London and fell behind in the seventh minute when Diego Costa broke the deadlock.

Eden Hazard then made it 2-0 to the hosts in the 33rd minute when he rounded the goalkeeper and slotted home.

And Victor Moses added further gloss to the scoreline when he added a third in the 80th minute in west London.

The result dealt another blow to Leicester’s fading hopes of retaining the Premier League title this season and left the Foxes in 13th place in the table.

And Lineker was not feeling too optimistic after the final whistle as he posted a series of updates on Twitter.

He tweeted:

Saturday’s win lifted Chelsea up to fifth place in the Premier League table.
