Gary Lineker takes to social media after Arsenal's thumping 6-0 win over Ludogorets on Wednesday night

Gary Linker took to social media to reflect on Mesut Ozil’s impressive hat-trick after the playmaker helped to fire Arsenal to a dominant 6-0 win over Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners took the lead after 12 minutes thanks to Alexis Sanchez’s neat chipped finish.

Theo Walcott then made it 2-0 with an impressive long-range strike before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain added a third after the break.

Ozil then scored three times to wrap up a comfortable win for the Gunners at The Emirates and move them a step closer towards the last 16 of the Champions League.

Lineker was quick to take to social media after Ozil netted the first hat-trick of his career.

He tweeted:

Next up for Arsenal is a home clash in the Premier League against Middlesbrough as they bid to make it seven wins in a row in the top flight.

The north London side are currently second in the table and level on points with leaders Manchester City.
