The Blues have kept a clean sheet in successive top-flight games for the first time in the Premier League this season thanks to a 2-0 win against Hull City and a 3-0 victory over Leicester City.
Goals from Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses sealed a comfortable win against the defending Premier League champions as Conte continues with his back three of Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Conte has built a reputation on utilising a three-man defence during his successful spells in charge of Serie A giants Juventus and the Italian national team.
Former Chelsea manager Vialli has been left amazed with how Conte has managed to improve the Blues defence in the past couple of weeks.
“Antonio Conte didn’t like the way Chelsea were defending with four at the back,” Vialli told Sky Sports.
“He switched to three and they look much more solid. They’re not conceding goals and the rest will come. I am amazed by the ability of AC in two or three weeks to make them play in the ways he wants.”
Chelsea are in fifth place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Manchester City and second-placed Arsenal.
The west London side will host Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United in their next Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
