Harry Kane has taken to social media to reveal that he is back training outdoors with Tottenham following his recent lay-off with an ankle injury.

The Spurs striker has been sidelined since suffering the problem during the 1-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League back on 18 September.

The England international has endured a frustrating spell on the sidelines but now looks ready to step up his rehabilitation as he bids to make a comeback before the end of the month.

Kane is unlikely to be involved when Tottenham travel to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime but the photo of him back in training on pitches will come as very uplifting news to Spurs fans.

The striker posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Feels great to be back out on the field! 👌”
