Harry Redknapp’s four-word response when asked if Tottenham can win the title

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager believes Mauricio Pochettino's are Premier League title contenders

Harry Redknapp believes Tottenham Hotspur are genuine Premier League title contenders.

The north London side are in third place in the Premier League table after Dele Alli cancelled out Nacer Chadli’s opener to salvage a 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side inflicted upon leaders Manchester City a first Premier League defeat of the season after a 2-0 win against the Citizens at White Hart Lane earlier this month.

Tottenham are the only Premier League club to avoid a defeat in eight games in the 2016-17 campaign so far.

Asked on BT Sport’s Premier League tonight show whether Tottenham could win the Premier League title, former Spurs manager Redknapp replied:

“They’ve got a chance.”

Tottenham played out a goalless draw with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in Germany on Tuesday night.

The north London outfit will make the trip to Bournemouth in Saturday’s early kick-off in the Premier League at the Vitality Stadium.
