Jamie Carragher has taken to social media to praise Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren after Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday night.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were in fine form at Anfield as they secured all three points to move up to second place in the Premier League table.

Goals from Sadio Mane and Coutinho in the first half at Anfield sent the Reds on their way to victory as they responded from the disappointment of their goalless draw with Manchester United on Monday night.

Gareth McAuley scored with a low shot in the 81st minute to set up a tense finale on Merseyside.

But Klopp’s men held on to take all three points and move up the Premier League table.

Carragher was in full fan mode on Saturday as he enjoyed watching his former employers in action from the stands.

And the Liverpool defender was particularly impressed by Coutinho and Lovren during the game.
