Jurgen Klopp previews Liverpool v Man United
Jurgen Klopp is feeling confident about Liverpool's chances ahead of their clash with Manchester United
Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he cannot wait for Liverpool’s Premier League showdown with Manchester United at Anfield on Monday night.
The Reds head into the game looking to maintain their strong start to the season after their 2-1 win at Swansea before the international break.
Liverpool have earned plenty of praise for the way they have started the new campaign and Klopp’s men have already recorded victories over the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in recent weeks.
The Merseyside outfit are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table and just two points behind leader Manchester City after seven games of the new season.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are five points off top spot and are looking to bounce back from their 1-1 draw with Stoke before the international break.
And Klopp is braced for a thrilling game at Anfield on Monday night when the Red Devils take on their bitter rivals.
Klopp is quoted as saying by The Daily Express: “We are really looking forward to what will be a fantastic game at Anfield.
“Those Europa League games were really nice. Both games were intense and competitive.
“We were better in the first game at Anfield. We had a fantastic atmosphere and the players were inspired by that.
“It was my first time at Old Trafford for the second leg. Maybe people don’t like to hear it, but there was actually quite a good atmosphere there too!
“It changed the game a little bit and it was real proof of what an atmosphere can do. United were on top but we killed that atmosphere with Philippe’s wonderful goal in the 45th minute. From then on it wasn’t that difficult any more.
“It’s a perfect moment for ‘Seeing is Believing’ because this game will have to be seen for people to believe what will happen.”
