Laurent Koscielny fires warning to Arsenal ahead of Swansea test

Laurent Koscielny has challenged Arsenal to continue their positive run of form when they take on Swansea City after the international break.

Koscielny proved the hero as he bundled the ball over the line deep into stoppage time to earn Arsenal a 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

The three points lifted Arsenal up to third place in the Premier League table and left Arsene Wenger’s men two points behind Manchester City after seven games of the new season.

Arsenal have earned plenty of praise for their impressive performances against the likes of Basel and Chelsea in recent weeks.

But Koscielny has warned his Gunners team-mates that those results will count for nothing if they do not continue their form against Swansea.

Speaking in an interview with Arsenal’s website, Koscielny said: “It’s very important to keep our run, we won a lot of games and we wanted to finish before the international break with a win.

“We did it, so it’s important to keep out feet on the floor. We played well against Chelsea, against Basel and we need to keep this form going for the next game.”
