Liverpool striker addresses recent transfer speculation about his future

Divock Origi addresses the recent speculation about his future at Liverpool

Divock Origi has insisted that he knows nothing about the recent transfer rumours linking him with a move away from Anfield.

The 21-year-old Belgium international has found his first team opportunities under Jurgen Klopp somewhat limited this season, with the striker yet to start a Premier League game for the Reds.

Origi has made five appearances from the bench in the top flight for the Reds but is yet to register a goal or assist in the top flight.

The forward has scored two goals in two League Cup appearances for the Merseyside outfit this term as he bids to prove himself as worthy of a regular starting spot in the Liverpool side.

There has been speculation about his future in recent weeks, but the forward insists that he has not been paying any attention to the reports.

Asked about the reported link with a move to Juventus, Origi told The Liverpool Echo: “I’ve not heard it. It’s a rumour, as there are many.

“No, I concentrate fully on Liverpool and the Belgium national team.”
