Singer Olly Murs states his prediction for Liverpool v Man United

Olly Murs is tipping a 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield next week

Olly Murs is tipping Manchester United to play out a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in their Premier League clash at Anfield next week.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of being held to a 1-1 draw by Stoke City before the international break.

United are currently sixth in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new season.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have been in fine form this season and look in good shape as they prepare to take on their bitter local rivals on Merseyside.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have played some scintillating football so far this season and are currently just two points behind leaders City in fourth place in the table.

Lifelong Manchester United fan Murs is hoping that Liverpool may underestimate their opponents at Anfield next week.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News HQ, Murs said: “I’m hoping that they [Liverpool] might be a little complacent thinking that we might not show up because we’re not playing that well at the moment.

“Hopefully they won’t show up and we get a result. I think it’ll be 2-2.”
