Michael Owen states his prediction for Liverpool v West Brom
Michael Owen looks ahead to Liverpool's home Premier League clash against West Brom on Saturday
Michael Owen is tipping Liverpool to return to winning ways in the Premier League by beating West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Saturday.
The Reds head into the game looking to get back to winning ways after they were held to a frustrating goalless draw by bitter local rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Monday night.
Liverpool have been in good form so far this season in the Premier League and have already recorded victories over the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City this team.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after eight games so far this term.
And Owen is expecting it to be a straightforward affair for Klopp’s side at Anfield this weekend.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Tony Pulis is unbeaten in his last eight Premier League games against Liverpool but I see the Reds bouncing back from what was a disappointing performance against Manchester United earlier in the week.”
Liverpool finished in eighth place and without a trophy last season in what was Klopp’s first campaign in charge at Anfield.
