Morgan was responding to a tweet from Sky Sports which revealed that Wenger was given a standing ovation at the club’s Annual General Meeting on Monday afternoon.

The former Daily Mirror editor is no stranger to voicing his views about Wenger on social media and has long been calling for a managerial change at The Emirates.

Upon reading the tweet, Morgan responded:

However, it is clear that former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar holds Wenger in much higher regard than Morgan, if his response is anything to go by.

Lord Sugar responded:

Arsenal, who are currently level on points with leaders Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, return to top-flight action with a trip to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
