Mesut Ozil was a happy man after helping to fire Arsenal to a 6-0 win over Ludogorets on Wednesday night
Mesut Ozil was in understandably good spirits as he posed for a picture with his team-mates after hitting a superb second-half hat-trick in Arsenal’s thumping 6-0 win over Ludogorets on Wednesday night.
Arsenal were in fine form at The Emirates as they romped to a convincing victory to take a step closer towards qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League.
Alexis Sanchez gave the home side the lead in the first half, before Theo Walcott made it 2-0 with a powerful long-range strike.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain then made it 3-0 with a low finish, before Ozil struck three times in quick succession to record the first hat-trick of his career.
Arsenal have been in fine form in recent weeks and look to be clicking into gear under Arsene Wenger.
And Ozil continued the feel-good vibes on Wednesday night as he snapped the picture above with his team-mates in the dressing room and posted on his personal Instagram account.
He wrote the caption: “Boom Bam @arsenal!💥😁 Brilliant team performance💪🏼 … and very happy about my first ever hattrick! 😊⚽ #YaGunnersYa #WhatADay #AFCvLUD @uefachampionsleague”
Arsenal return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Middlesbrough.
