Michael Owen says Arsenal are in top form ahead of their clash with Middlesbrough this weekend

Michael Owen says Arsenal are full of confidence at present as the Gunners gear up for their Premier League clash with Middlesbrough at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The north London side have earned plenty of praise for their performances in recent weeks and continued their fine form with a 6-0 thrashing of Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Arsene Wenger’s men have been in top form in both Europe and the Premier League as they look to end their long wait for the top-flight trophy this season.

Arsenal are currently preparing to host Middlesbrough at The Emirates as they bid to make it seven wins in a row in the top flight.

Owen says that it is vital that Arsenal top their Champions League group this year after being made to pay for finishing second in recent campaigns.

But the former Liverpool striker took to social media to also accept that Arsenal are looking in fine shape.
