Mohamed Elneny looked to be in good spirits as he snapped a selfie en route back to London as he prepares to turn his attentions back to Arsenal affairs.

The Egypt international helped his country secure a 2-1 win over Congo in World Cup qualifying and played the full 90 minutes as they claimed all three points.

The midfielder will now be hoping to be involved when Arsenal return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Swansea City at The Emirates.

And Elneny looked to be in a good mood as he snapped the selfie above and posted it on his Instagram account, writing: “Back to London ✌🏼️”

The 24-year-old midfielder has seen his first-team opportunities at Arsenal somewhat restricted this season following the arrival of Granit Xhaka in the summer transfer window.
