New Man United signing picks Chelsea legend as his idol

Manchester United new-boy Eric Bailly reveals that he looks up to Chelsea legend Didier Drogba

Eric Bailly believes that Chelsea legend Didier Drogba is the greatest-ever African footballer.

The new Manchester United signing is currently getting to grips with life at Old Trafford following his summer transfer to the club from Villarreal.

The Ivory Coast international has been in impressive form for the Red Devils following his switch and seems to be comfortable with the rigours of the Premier League.

Bailly is clearly a big fan of Drogba and admits that he looks up to the Chelsea legend as one of his main idols.

Asked who he thinks the greatest African player, Bailly told Inside Review: “It has to be my friend, Didier Drogba.”

Bailly will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action with a crunch clash against Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night.
