Paul Pogba says Zlatan Ibrahimovic is like his big brother and is tipping the Swede to help guide Manchester United to silverware this season.

The 35-year-old striker has already made a solid start to life at Old Trafford following his summer transfer from Paris Saint-Germain on a free.

Ibrahimovic has netted six goals for the Red Devils as Jose Mourinho’s men prepare to make the short trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Monday night.

The veteran striker has been tasked with helping to restore United to the top of English football following their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last season.

And Pogba – who returned to Old Trafford in a big-money deal from Juventus in the summer – is tipping Ibrahimovic to have a big impact at Old Trafford this term.

Pogba is quoted as saying by Metro: “Ibrahimovic is like a big brother.

“He has a winning mentality, a great player. He’s very important in Manchester, with him we can reach our objectives.”
