Aaron Ramsey looked to be in good spirits on Tuesday night as he posed for a picture with some friends while watching Arsenal take on Reading in the League Cup at The Emirates.

The midfielder has recently returned to training with the Gunners after being out injured since the opening weekend of the season.

Ramsey suffered a muscular injury during the 4-3 defeat by Liverpool back in August but began training outside with his team-mates last week.

It remains to be seen whether Ramsey will be considered fit enough to make the trip to Sunderland for Arsenal’s Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

However, Ramsey looked in high spirits in midweek as he enjoyed Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Reading with his former team-mates Chris Gunter and Mika Chunuonsee.

Ramsey shared the photo above on Instagram and wrote: “Three former bluebirds reunited for the Arsenal game last night. Great to be in the hat for the quarters!”
