Aaron Ramsey has taken to social media to reveal that he cannot wait to get back to action for Arsenal following his recent injury lay-off.

The Wales midfielder has been out of action since suffering a muscular injury in the first game of the Premier League season against Liverpool back in August.

Ramsey recently returned to outdoor training at Arsenal’s London Colney base as the midfielder steps up his recovery from injury.

And the midfielder is clearly close to making his comeback for the north London side, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.

Ramsey shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Itching to get back out there for both club & country. Thanks for all the support”

Arsenal return to League Cup action on Tuesday night when they host Reading at The Emirates in the fourth round tie in north London.

It remains to be seen whether Ramsey will be involved in that game, or if Arsene Wenger opts to give the midfielder further recovery time.
