Ander Herrera has been drawing inspiration from his baby girl after Manchester United's recent poor form

Ander Herrera has taken to social media to reveal that seeing his baby daughter has helped him get over the disappointment of Manchester United’s 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

Herrera played from the start but was unable to prevent the Red Devils from slipping two goals behind before half-time, with Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante then completing the Premier League rout after half-time.

The result left Manchester United six points off top spot in the Premier League and with two points from the last available nine.

However, the Spanish midfielder was drawing inspiration from his baby daughter on Monday night as he posted the affectionate photo above on social media.

Herrera shared the snap on his Instagram account and wrote: “In tough days , this makes you get up … #d”
